Ich bin gerade zurück von meiner Reise nach Köln. Für ein paar Tage tauschte ich Stichsäge, Lebensmittelsilikon und Filtertechniken gegen eine lange Tafel voll mit gutem Essen, Wein und Menschen, die ich gern um mich herum habe. Das fröhliche Geplaudere, die Sonne auf meiner Haut und die vielen Stunden ohne Druck und Arbeit gaben mir wieder ein Stück Leichtigkeit zurück, die manchmal mit den vielen Anforderungen verloren geht. Trotzdem verschwand das Thema “Tiny House” und “Wasser” nicht aus meinem Kopf.
Die INTERZUM in Köln lockte zu sehr mit “Mobile Spaces” und “Circular Thinking” – From Upcycling to Biofabrication”. Die Weltleitmesse für Möbelfertigung und Innenausbau beeindruckte mich vom Umfang und Aufbau und war kaum zu bewältigen. Ich suchte nach Inspirationen für den Innenausbau meines Tiny Houses und war neugierig auf den kreativen Umgang mit der Wiederverwendung von Wertstoffen. In einer besonders großen und schönen Halle gab es eine Sonderfläche “Innovation of Interior”, auf der sehr interessante Upcyclingmodelle ausgestellt wurden.
Die leichten und innovativen “Paper Bricks” von Woojai Lee, die “Solar active building facade elements” der Heliatek GmbH, die “Tuff Roof” aus Tetra Pak Material von Daman Ganga Paper Mill aus Indien oder die leichten Bio- sandwich panel aus Bioplastic vom Fraunhofer UMSICHT zeigen, dass es möglich ist, Nachhaltigkeit und Anforderungen beim Tiny House Bau (Gewichtsreduktion) zusammenzubringen. Mit diesen Ansätzen kann der Innenausbau eines Tiny Houses ebenso gestaltet werden, da die vorgestellten Materialien eine tolle Inspiration und Grundlage für Mehr geben.
Jedes Mal, wenn ich mich mit Wasseraufbereitung beschäftige, komme ich zwangsläufig auch zum Thema Verschmutzung. Die enorme Menge an Plastikmüll und Verpackungsmaterial schadet unserem Wasser in doppelter Hinsicht – bei der Produktion durch den Wasserverbrauch und als Verschmutzungsfaktor als Abfallprodukt. Wasseraufbereitung und -recycling, Kreislauf und die Bedeutung von Wasser sind keine auf den reinen Stoff reduzierte Aspekte sondern ein ganzheitliches System eines ganzen Lebens, das über Wohlstand, Gesundheit und Leben entscheidet. Es ist gar nicht möglich, jene Verantwortung aus den Händen zu geben.

I’m just back from my trip to Cologne. For a couple of days, I swapped jigsaw, food silicone and filter techniques against a long table full of good food, wine and people I liked around me. The joyous chatter, the sun on my skin and the many hours without pressure and work gave me back a bit of ease, which is sometimes lost with the many requirements. Nevertheless, the topic “Tiny House” and “Water” didn’t disappear from my head.
The INTERZUM in Cologne attracted too much with “Mobile Spaces” and “Circular Thinking” – From Upcycling to Biofabrication. The World Leading Trade Fair for furniture production and interior construction impressed me with its size and structure and was almost impossible to manage. I searched for inspiration for my Tiny House and was curious about the creative handling of the reuse of valuable materials. In a particularly large and beautiful hall there was a special area “Innovation of Interior”, on which very interesting upcycling models were exhibited.
The light and innovative “Paper Bricks” by Woojai Lee, “Solar active building facade elements” by Heliatek GmbH, the “Tuff Roof” made of Tetra Pak material from Daman Ganga Paper Mill from India or the light bioplastic panel from Bioplastic Fraunhofer UMSICHT show that it’s possible to combine the sustainability and requirements of Tiny House construction (weight reduction). With these approaches the internal construction of a Tiny House can be designed in the same way because the presented materials provide a great inspiration and basic for more ideas.
Every time when I deal with water treatment, I’m coming to the issue of pollution. The enormous amount of plastic waste and packaging material damages our water in two ways: in production through water consumption and as a pollution factor as a waste product. Water treatment and recycling, circulation and the importance of water aren’t a matter of pure substance, but a holistic system of a whole life that decides on prosperity, health and life. It’s not possible to give that responsibility out of our hands.
